Day Three: “Superfluous” & “Permaculture”

The slowness of this day allowed more time to ponder the words before hammering them out. A dear friend asked me for a poem about his spouse, who is also dear to me. This sort of summer valentine (not to be posted) brought me to a new level of personal involvement with my insta-poemcraft. The subject was, after all, one of the first people I knew from this town, from before I moved here.

And now for the words on the street:

Superfluous

Superfluous

Permaculture

Permaculture

Cucumber

Cucumber

Whippoorwill

Whippoorwill

The person who requested this one read it aloud–it was a treat to hear someone read my words back to me!
